SDGs Book Seminar

On 14 August, Saturday, the first step of <1st SDGs Book Seminar> terminated in success.

SDGs Book Seminar is an independent program based on the curriculum of global citizenship education and UN expert education, in which SDG Book Club Korea members conduct every part of the program, starting with the theme of the seminar, formats, composition, and so on.

The 1st SDGs Book Seminar has proceeded in the form of a "Presidential Candidate TV Debate".

Under the major theme  <Nuclear Power for all, but aimed for all: Is it suitable for the future source of energy?>, six students selected through excellent activities in SDG Book Club Korea were divided into pros and cons and battled 1vs1 discussions on three secondary topics each.

Let's see how the 1st SDGs Book Seminar was conducted through the photo.

The last panel of the cons was Na-Eun Park.

She persuaded the audience by insisting on the effectiveness of alternative energy which can replace nuclear energy.

After the discussion on the three topics, both pros and cons took time to finalize each camp's arguments.

Na-Eun Park and Chae-Won Oh represented the Cons and Pros respectively and finalized their arguments.
